The nature seen in Choi Suyoung's work appears through a mixture of reality and fantasy. The main characteristics of the work are the blurred boundaries and ambiguous focus of the canvas edges. It comes to mind when memories that cannot be clearly recalled are vaguely reminded. The unique texture of the surface, expressed by a mixture of oil paintings, oil pastels, pencils, and other media, maximizes the effect of making several landscapes appear multidimensional rather than unidimensional. Suhin Gallery held Choi’s sixth solo exhibition in December 2022 and presented a large work on the experimental project III "HYPER IMPRESSIONISM", organized by the Daegu Art Factory this year. In addition, she tries to connect the diversity and division of modern society through art. Like impressionists in the past, she left her studio and immersed herself to nature to explore life and art. Through her work, she conveyed the warm comfort that she received from nature to visitors.
